Dreamweaver

template given
saving as jpeg file
Transfering the photoshop finished products to dreamweaver wasnt as hard as i thought. I wqas given a template for both pages which allowed me to simply insert image in the template to create by website. My page was already broken down into three parts. The header, the main content and the banner.

1st

I opened my photoshop document, went to save as and saved it as a jpeg instead of a psd.

2nd

insert- image - find jpeg file
I opened up dreamweaver opened the document with my template and clicked on the content part of the image, then went to insert, scrolled down to image which then opened a finder where i searched for my jpeg copy of my finished product and click open. It then automaticly pasted my jpeg copy into the template.

3rd

I repeated the same routine for my header and for my banner.

This is my finished website home page. I have added the feature i had created . I have used the combinations of the colours red, blue and white which matches with my title.

Main Website Page

Before starting my page.  I chose to make the features for the page before hand, here are a few features that will appear on my page.

This is an advert made on photoshop.

i chose this photograph to appear on my front page to promote a clothing company
i realized that many newspaper had weather updates about their local town. Therefore i chose to make a small weather forecast to appear on my page.  I design the cloud on photoshop. i also underlined 5 day forecast to make it look like a link.

This is my latest news features.. i chose to have a red tab at the top to colour coordinate with my newspaper tit;e

I have kept the fixed feature on this page like the second page of my newspaper. As you can see i used rulers to neatly organize my page, it help as it allowed the columns to neaten up the page. I placed the local weather at the top and made  different titles ready for the articles. I also repeated the advert of the abused dog.
I have taken on feedback from my peers.
I previously didn't have a title for my main article which i now had to add!

i decide to add the search directory onto the second page as it is on my first front page. I felt i needed to have it on the second page too to make it look like it is fixed onto every page of the website along with the different coloured titles on the top left hand corner of the page.
